Chef Scott Wagner of ChileCo Catering Exceeds Expectations at “Taste of San Marcos” - April 3, 2007
San Marcos, CA - Luckily for the hungry attendees of the “Taste of San Marcos,” this past Sunday, Chef Scott Wagner, CEO and Executive Chef of ChileCo Catering, came prepared to delight the tastebuds of all of the visitors as other vendors found their samples depleted by mid-event.
The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, presented the first annual Grand Spring Festival which included the popular “Taste of San Marcos”. This culinary occasion brought together 40,000+ visitors and 30 local restaurants in San Marcos, appropriately known to residents as “The Dining Capital of North County.”
Attendees were able to sample cuisine and taste wine from local vendors. As the afternoon wound down, so did the amount of food available for tasting. However, the experience and expertise of Chef Scott Wagner quickly made ChileCo Catering the premiere choice for patrons.
Chef Scott was delighted to be a part of this event when selected as a VIP caterer by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce. His San Marcos kitchen for ChileCo Catering has supported local farmers and vendors in the community and he embraced this opportunity to showcase them. “My menus are designed around the seasons and inspired by fresh herbs, fruits and organic vegetables grown in the fertile coastal soils of North County San Diego,” says Wagner.

Local Developer Hires Celebrity Chef to Showcase Affordable Luxury Living SAN DIEGO, CA - March 21,2007
